This is just a list of potential gametypes I think about and i may/may not get around to implementing them (I am artist.). Types I think of are inspired from mods that I have enjoyed ~2000-2001. Just getting this out of my head before I forget, no guarantees/promises.

FFA:

  • Bounty (assassin): random players can only target random players for score. violating that makes you an outlaw for everyone to score off of
  • Pilfer the Poultry (q3ctc/q3f gotduck): a possession variant in which you get noisy fowl weapon that you can only throw and you earn points from that

TEAM (bases):

  • Ball (freakball, gridiron, qockey, proball): Ball "weapon" spawns in the middle, and you must get it into the other team's goal. Firing shoots/passes.

TEAM (loose):

  • Red Rover (rocketarena, assimilation): the other RA type where instead of permanently eliminating, you force team changes. Round ends when the other team's got nobody. Players then get shuffled.
  • Icecube (Freezetag): currently most requested gametype. Players freeze when they are killed. Teammates can thaw them. Round ends when all are frozen.
