Yes, I know that using WebRTC just to have a nice looking visual is overkill, I was thinking of two ways to improve this:

1. Draw the oscilloscope directly in Rust (eg. using wgpu) over a pre-defined area of the window (sending rect position + dimensions from JS, also when resizing). That would be really cool and make this performant and truly a hybrid app :) This would require converting the app to a wgpu app, then drawing the WebView on top. 2. Using Tauri v2's new IPC functionality for sending raw binary data, unserialized. It's much faster, would need to see how well it handles this. [docs] how to use new ipc in windows tauri-apps/tauri#9322 (comment)
