Doesn't the new version have breaking changes? arch, gentoo both provide 2.15.x alongside 2.13.9, while a lot of distros are on 2.14. Probably requires checking which packages depend on removed functionality

I've added a diff to the OP. The Maintaining two versions may be the best approach, but yeah, personally that's all I've got to offer so far. |

I've updated the
libxml2template which requires a soname bump for a lot of packages that I couldn't possibly build locally.libxml2-2.15.1compiles fine locally (x86_64-glibc).Template removed by request
