Part of apify/apify-web#4670

  • Added Segment OneTrust integration to support cookie modals.
  • Added consent context to every page view event sent to Segment.

legal team requested you add tracking to crawlee website? 👀

my point is we shouldn't track anybody here, so we don't need those dumb cookie banners.

Hey,
TLDR - no analytics (or marketing) tracking cookies and no read/write to user's browser means no consent banner is required.
As I understood, there is a need for performance and KPIs' measurement for Tooling. Since there is a Hubspot and Segment tracking in place there is no other way if we want to be compliant. The last statement that was made on the meeting with Lenka B. and Ondra U. some time ago was that the design will be simplistic, non-intrusive and different to EU/US design on Apify.com domains.

All right then, sorry for being a bit triggered by this. I still hate those cookie banners with all my heart, but what can we do 🙃

Added cookie consent similar to apify/crawlee#2964, but the one used on
web as it's on apify.com domain.

- Added Segment OneTrust integration to support cookie modals.
